The Todd County Central Rebels appear to be finding their stride as the New Year gets started. The Rebels won for the sixth time in their last seven games, going on the road Tuesday night and taking a 56-44 win at Grayson County.

In five of the six wins, the Rebel defense has owned the night, limiting the opponent to under 50 points. The only team to score more than 50 during that stretch was Trigg County, who the Rebels beat handily 75-60.

The Rebels will now have a couple of 13th District matchups before they turn their attention to defending their 4th Region All A Classic championship.

Friday night, Todd Central travels to Franklin-Simpson. A week from Friday, the Rebels will host Logan County.

With Tuesday night’s win at Grayson County, the Rebels are now 10-6 on the year.
