Slow Start Dooms Lady Falcons at Dawson Springs

Jaidah Ezcaman had a double-double, but Fort Campbell’s girls fell 57-30 in action Tuesday night at Dawson Springs.

The host Lady Panthers ran out to a 24-2 lead after just 8 minutes and coasted from there.

Dawson (7-13) took a 35-12 lead to halftime and held a 47-23 margin through three quarters.

Gracie Harper paced the Lady Panthers with 16 points while Audrey McCoy had 10 points. Abby Ward just missed scoring in double figures with nine points.

Ezcaman had 13 points and 13 rebounds for Fort Campbell (2-9). Charlize Cruz also had 13 points for the Lady Falcons.

Dawson Springs has won its last 10 matchups with Fort Campbell.

The Lady Falcons next travel to Christian County on Thursday for an 8th District date.

The Lady Panthers will host 7th District foe Hopkins County Central on Friday.
