A pair of big performances powered Madison Central past Christian County Friday night in Richmond.
Jaylen Davis poured in 35 points while Robby Todd had 21 points and 15 rebounds to push the Indians past the Colonels 88-81.
Madison Central (15-13) built a 39-29 halftime lead, but Christian (14-11) closed to within 56-50 through three quarters.
Derrell Bateman led the Colonels with 22 points. Jordan Miles added 18, George Sanders 15 and Breland Morrison 10.
Christian County will be in action closer to home on Saturday, taking on McCracken County at 8 p.m. in the Akridge Ace Jam at Lyon County.
