Hopkins County Central’s High Voltage dance team competed at the Kentucky Dance Coaches Organization state competition Saturday in Shelbyville.
They won large varsity in hip hop and game day divisions.
The team also won Grand Champion over 20 high school dance teams.
The team leaves March 1 to head to Orlando, Florida, to compete at National Dance Alliance Nationals among the nation’s top high school teams. High Voltage will compete in the large varsity division for hip hop and game day routines.
High Voltage is coached by Vickie Fox, Ashley Mitchell and Whitney Perdue.
