Former Caldwell County Tiger standout Jase Felker saw his first action of the college baseball season for the University of Kentucky on Sunday, getting the start at designated hitter in the Wildcats’ 15-0 win over Wright State.
Felker, a senior with the Wildcats, finished 3-for-4 with two runs, an RBI and a stand-up triple at Kentucky Proud Park in Lexington.
UK is 5-2 on the young season.
Felker is a 2018 Caldwell County High School grad.
He was a member of the Tigers’ back-to-back 2nd Region championship teams in both 2016 and 2017.
Kentucky will host Morehead State on Tuesday afternoon.
