
Caldwell County’s girls’ track team set one school record and tied another in its first home meet in over a decade last Thursday at Tiger Stadium.
The girls’ 4×100-meter thrower relay team of Keirli Herran, Emma Ward, Janiyla Dates, Kaley Palombo established a program record with its time of 1:06.83.
Ava Pickett tied the girls’ high jump record at 4 feet, 4 inches.
Caldwell’s girls won the team competition with 210 points while Muhlenberg County took second with 146. Hopkins County Central and Dawson Springs tied for third while McLean County was fifth.
