The final game in the Fort Walton Beach Bash for the Todd County Central Rebels is a memory the Rebels will want to leave at the Florida state line. The Rebels were limited to one hit as Brookville took an 11-1 win Thursday night. The loss was Todd Central’s fourth straight on their Florida trip.

The Ohio team scored in four of its five at-bats in rolling to the five-inning win. The Rebels did not help their own cause any by being charged with five errors in the contest.

Brookville scored four in the bottom of the first and four more in the bottom of the second to take an 8-0 lead. The Rebels scored their only run of the game in the top of the third when Peyton Ortiz connected for an RBI single.

Brookville then scored one in the bottom of the third and closed out the game with two in the bottom of the fifth to reach the ten-run rule.

Conner Wheeler was tagged with the loss for Todd County Central (7-6). He went two innings, giving up eight runs, only five of them earned, striking out three and walking five.

The Rebels are set to return to action Tuesday when they go on the road to Madisonville.
