Union (5-7) scored two runs in the bottom of the seventh to complete the comeback.

It was Union’s second close win over Caldwell this season. The Braves won 9-7 in eight innings in Princeton earlier this year.

Landon Jones was 3-for-5 with four runs batted in to lead the Union offense.

Tapp (1-0) was the winning pitcher, blanking the Tigers over the final 3.1 innings on three base hits. He struck out three and walked none.
