Rebel Runners and Throwers Take 10th Place at Fort Campbell Invite

Todd County Central sprinkled in some new personal bests to finish in 10th place Saturday at the Coach Johnson Memorial Classic at Fort Campbell. Todd County scored 14 points – three points less than ninth-place Trigg County.

FIELD EVENTS

Evan Thomas was 16th in the discus throw with a personal best of 75 feet, 3 inches and was 22nd in the shot put with a personal best toss of 26 feet, 1 inch.

Jayvonte McClarm set a new personal best of 71 feet, 7 inches in the discus throw to finish in 21st place. He was 25th in the shot put at 22 feet, 8.5 inches.

Jarret Stamps was 25th in the discus throw with a personal best toss of 45 feet, 3 inches, and 26th in the shot put at 20 feet, 3.75 inches.

RELAYS

The 400-meter relay team of Fisher and Sonny Borders, Franklin Grullon, and B.J. Farlow finished in fourth place in 46.26 seconds.

The 1600-meter relay team of Fisher and Sonny Borders, Cole Gilbert, and Mohammed Sinawi was seventh in 3:56.13.

The 3200-meter relay team of Jaran Miller, KeAdrian Thirdgill, Elijah Gonzalez, and Evan Cornelius finished ninth in 10:54.84.

SPRINTS

Franklin Grullon was seventh in the 100-meter dash in 12.08 seconds and was 13th in the 200 meters in 25.03 seconds.

Fisher Borders was seventh in the 200 meters in 23.81 seconds and was eighth in the 400-meter dash in a time of 55.46 seconds.

B.J. Farlow was 14th in the 100-meter dash with a personal best time of 12.20 seconds. He also placed 10th in the 300-meter hurdles with a personal best time of 48.78 seconds.

Mohammed Sinawi was 19th in the 400-meter dash with a personal best time of 58.81 seconds.

MIDDLE DISTANCE

Cole Gilbert was 18th in the 800-meter run in a personal best time of 2:28.53 and was 25th in the 400 meters in 1:00.57.

Sonny Borders was 24th in the 200 meters in 26.73 seconds and was 28th in the 100-meter dash in 13.08 seconds.

Ivan Lopez was 16th in the 1600-meter run in 5:44.41.

KeAdrian Thirdgill was 24th in the 800-meter run in 2:39.43 (PR), while Jaran Miller was 27th in 2:46.07 (PR).

David Gillespey was 25th in the 1600-meter run in 6:29.98.
