Despite fielding a small squad, the University Heights Academy Lady Blazer track and field team brought home a seventh-place finish at the Hopkinsville Classic Saturday at the Stadium of Champions.
UHA totaled 19 points to finish 14 points behind sixth-place Hopkins County Central and four points ahead of eighth-place Christian County.
SPRINTS
Ajae Oatts was ninth in the 200 meters in 29.44 seconds and was 10th in the 100 meters in 14.07 seconds. She also ran a 1:11.14 in the 400 meters to finish in 10th place.
Cecelia Langhi was 22nd in the 100-meter dash in 15.05 seconds and 23rd in the 200 meters in 32.14 seconds.
Alyssa Grise was 27th in the 100 meters in 15.49 seconds and 28th in the 200 meters in 33.53 seconds.
HURDLES
Emma Dill finished in third place in the 300-meter hurdles in 51.83 seconds and was fourth in the 100 meters in 19.37 seconds.
RELAYS
The 800-meter relay team finished in fourth place with a time of 2:01.18.
FIELD EVENTS
Alexis Pollard finished 13th in the shot put at 15 feet, 3.25 inches.
