After a recent slump, No. 21 Kentucky baseball got back on track Friday night with a 7-3 statement win over No. 3 South Carolina Gamecocks.
It wasn’t long ago that Kentucky baseball simply couldn’t lose. Of course, that changed when they started to play one of the tougher schedules in the country.
The Wildcats were swept by Vanderbilt last week, dropped two of three to Texas A&M the week before and two of three to LSU the week before that.
After Friday night’s win, Kentucky has all the momentum to grab at least one more win this weekend before they clash with Tennessee in Knoxville next Friday.
Kentucky will play South Carolina today and tomorrow with both games scheduled for 2PM.
