Lady Lyons Finish in 13th Place at Region Meet

The Lyon County Lady Lyons finished in 13^th place Thursday at the Region 1 Track and Field Meet at Mayfield High School.

Kyndal Hubbard came in eighth place in the 800-meter run (2:54.70), and Jennessa Desrosiers was 11^th in 3:03.13. Hubbard also finished seventh in the 3200 meters (15:49.75), while Desrosiers was eighth (16:02.05).

Chloe Gandee finished in 12^th place in the 100-meter dash in 14.98 seconds. Eryn McDowell was 20^th in 16.93 seconds.

Gandee was also 11^th in the 200 meters (32,85) and 13^th in the 400-meter dash (1:16.48). Sonora Burchett was 15^th in the 400 meters in 1:17.81.

The 800-meter relay team finished sixth (2:11.24)

The 3200-meter relay team opened the meet with fifth place. Sadi Gandee, Sonora Burchett, Kyndal Hubbard, and Jennessa Desrosiers circled the track eight times in 11:54.45.

In the field events, freshman Kaley Lee finished sixth in the shot put in 25-08. Eryn McDowell was 15^th (18-04.50). Lee was 19^th in the discus throw (40-00) and McDowell was 20^th (36-11).
