She was an anchor for the Heritage Christian Academy Archery team for several years, and now as an HCA graduate, her future appears to be as bright as the lights on a theatre stage, where she has spent a good deal of time. When you look at her achievements and accomplishments, both in athletic competition and in other aspects of her life, it is easy to see why Haley Killebrew is a Chick-fil-A ‘Triple A.’

Haley is a 2023 grad of Heritage Christian, which she attended since preschool. She is a Rotary scholarship recipient and has received an academic scholarship from Hopkinsville Community College.

In addition to her academics, she has been extensively involved in her school community.

As a part of her senior year at Heritage Christian, Haley was a participant in the Kentucky Youth Assembly in Frankfort. The Kentucky Youth Assembly, more commonly known to those who participate as KYA, is an expanded, educational opportunity in which students serve as part of a model state government. KYA offers students the opportunity to learn about a wide variety of issues, develop critical thinking skills, and articulate their beliefs while engaging constructively with their peers from around the Commonwealth.

She supported the Hopkinsville Rotary Auction through Interact with HCA and the District Interact Council, which is an exclusive counsel that oversees Interact Club’s from Hopkinsville to Louisville. Haley says the District Interact Council meets over zoom every Monday night, directing projects all over Kentucky, and is now taking care of community service acts in Scranton, Pennsylvania.

Haley recently competed in the Distinguished Young Women program for the Class of 2023, winning the talent and interview portions of the event.

She was also a part of the Mayors Youth Council for 2023.

Haley has been involved in youth leadership, which she says elevated her community service. She spent time working with the Aaron McNeil House in Hopkinsville. The Aaron McNeil House promotes the well-being of families in the Hopkinsville/Christian County community through Crisis Relief and Food Pantry programs.

She also has quite a talent for being on the stage. Haley has been extensively involved in the HCA Drama Department and with several community productions put on by Campanile Productions.

As for her immediate future plans, Haley says she plans on attending Hopkinsville Community College and start her path to a major in psychology, with the possibility of turning that into a carrier of being a therapist.

An impressive list for an impressive young lady with a very bright future ahead of her. That would be Haley Killebrew, another outstanding Chick-fil-A ‘Triple A.’
