John Calipari’s roster rebuild for next season continues to get younger and younger.
Kentucky added a seventh freshman to its 2023-24 roster when Indiana standout Joey Hart signed with Kentucky. He joins Rob Dillingham, DJ Wagner, Aaron Bradshaw, Justin Edwards, Reed Sheppard and Jordan Burks in UK’s No. 1 ranked recruiting class.
“Joey can really shoot the basketball but also brings a tremendous all-around game to this class,” Calipari said after Hart’s signing. “His best days of basketball are ahead of him and I look forward to watching him develop alongside the rest of the class.
“I’m excited to get Joey on campus so he can continue to improve at this next level.”
The 6-5, 180-pound Hart averaged 23.6 points, 4.1 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game and shot over 40 percent from 3-point range for Linton-Stockton High School. His team went 29-2 and reached the Class 2A state championship game before losing.
He finished his prep career with 1,901 points along with 424 rebounds and 224 assists and was ranked as a top five player in Indiana. Overall, he’s a top 30 shooting guard nationally and top 200 prospect as a three-star recruit.
Hart also played on the Under Armour circuit last spring and summer and shot 45 percent from 3 while averaging 19.8 points per game.

Unlike some other recent examples, at least Hart plans to bring his game and wants to play. However, the track record of this coach is that players like this NEVER get a fair chance to do so.
I love his attitude
The truth is you have proven you know nothing about college basketball.
