The Lyon County Lady Lyons were among the teams in Bowling Green Monday for summer basketball action. Lyon County was at Western Kentucky University for the WKU girls’ team camp.
During their stay in BG, the Lady Lyons had the chance to take to the court for a pair of games.
The Lady Lyons faced off against Hazard and came away with a 48-40 win.
Lyon County’s second game Monday was against Rock Creek. The Lady Lyons fell in this one by the score of 35-29 to finish out their day at WKU at 1-1.
The activity level for high school sports across the Commonwealth is about to get a break as the dead period for high school sports in Kentucky starts Sunday.
