Haydon Reynolds
It was a tale of two nines for Haydon Reynolds at Monday’s Hopkinsville Golf and Country Club Boys’ Invitational.
The Trigg County junior was even par through seven holes that included a birdie on the par-5 fourth hole. He made the turn at 1-over par before the consistency vanished.
Reynolds shot a 45 on the back nine and finished with a 10-over par 81, which was good for a tie for 24th place.
Ethan Curling added a 107 for the Wildcats, who only fielded two golfers in the event.
Landon Hunt of McCracken County and Aidan Hahn of St. Mary each shot a 2-under 69. Hunt won the title on the second playoff hole.
