
On Tuesday, Anna Fort and Cate Blane took different paths to arrive at their score of 84 at the Hopkinsville Golf and Country Club Invitational.
Fort had her putter working, which included a long putt for an eagle on the par-4 10th hole. She shot a 43 on the front nine and came in with a 41.
Blane, meanwhile, hit the ball well off the tee and had some solid approaches. Her short game was her undoing Blane didn’t record a birdie Tuesday but had 11 pars.
Fort and Blane finished in a tie for 13th place.
Karra Tucker of Madisonville-North Hopkins shot a two-under-par 69 to win the individual title by five shots over Marshall County’s Katie Roberts.
