The University Heights Academy golf team brought home a ninth-place finish Monday at the McLean County Invitational played at the Panther Creek Golf Course in Utica.
Hayden Hunt had the top score for UHA with a career-best round of 74, good for a tie for 13th place.
Cal Givens shot a round of 80 which included a 3-over par 35 on the back nine. Jaxin Pollack shot an 83 and Courtland Gibson shot an 89.
Daviess County’s Grant Broughton scorched the course with a 7-under-par 63 to claim the individual title.
UHA’s team score of 326 was seven shots behind eighth place Muhlenberg County. Marshall County shot a 289 to claim the team championship.
