University Heights Academy picked up its first team win on the golf course this season with a victory Thursday at the McLean County Invitational played at Panther Creek Golf Course outside of Owensboro.
Conlee Lindsey shot a 4-over-par 74 to tie for first place. She went to a playoff with Breckinridge County’s Adelynn Moorman who also shot a 74. Moorman made a birdie on the first playoff hole with Lindsey making par.
Allie Sandifer shot a 97 for the Lady Blazers. Campbell Lindsey shot a personal best score of 99, and Caroline Tucker shot 117.
As a team, UHA shot 387 to finish 19 shots ahead of second-place Webster County.
