
Carson Powell was the lone representative for Heritage Christian Academy on Friday at the Christian County Invitational boys’ golf tournament in Hopkinsville.
Heavy rains fell at Western Hills Golf Course throughout the morning and into the early afternoon, resulting in difficult conditions for players.
Powell carded a 91 for his round.
Three other players managed to shoot 68 despite the rough conditions. Greenwood’s Jacob Lang took first with Ohio County’s Seth Moore second and Josh Thompson of Henderson County third.
Greenwood took team honors with a 287.
McCracken County was runner-up at 292.
