Despite playing a lot of his round in a downpour, Trigg County’s Haydon Reynolds still came in with a 75 after 18 holes at the Christian County Invitational boys’ golf tournament on Friday.

Golfers were greeted by rain and soggy course conditions at Western Hills Golf Course in Hopkinsville.

Players endured one weather delay in the morning but still managed to finish the tourney.

Also playing for Trigg was Ethan Curling, who shot 107.

Three players shot 68s in spite of the adverse conditions.

Greenwood’s Jacob Lang took first with a birdie on the first playoff hole. Ohio County’s Seth Moore finished second and Josh Thompson of Henderson County took third.

Greenwood took team honors with a 287.

McCracken County was runner-up at 292 led by a 70 from Landon Hunt.
