Travis Perry shot a 74 on Friday to lead Lyon County at the Christian County Invitational boys’ golf tournament in Hopkinsville.
Players battled soggy conditions all day after heavy rains fell at Western Hills Golf Course throughout the morning and into the early afternoon.
Brady Shoulders was next for Lyon with an 81.
Cooper Collins carded a 97 while Grant Wiggins and Carson Collins each shot 98.
Colton Gobin shot 112 for the Lyons, who totaled a team score of 350.
Greenwood’s Jacob Lang took first with Ohio County’s Seth Moore second and Josh Thompson of Henderson County third after all three of those players came in with 68s. Lang birdied the first hole of a playoff.
Greenwood took team honors with a 287.
McCracken County was runner-up at 292, led by a 70 from Landon Hunt, who placed fifth individually.
