The Webster County Trojans now have back-to-back wins to open the 2023 soccer season. The Trojans got a pair of goals from Manuel Salinas as they picked up a 4-2 win at Fort Campbell Thursday evening.
The Falcons were coming off a season-opening win over Lyon County and put up a battle against the Trojans, but came up just short in the two-goal loss.
Fort Campbell got goals from Dylan McDonald and Sam Atoubi in the loss. The goal for McDonald was his second of the season.
In addition to the two goals from Salinas, the Trojans had goals from Jesus De Santiago and Pasacual Alonzo.
Fort Campbell drops to 1-1 on the season with the loss. The Falcons are back in action Monday at Caldwell County in the 2nd Region All A Classic.
