Fresh off a nail-biting penalty kick shootout win over district rivals Franklin-Simpson, the Todd County Central Lady Rebels found themselves locked in another low-scoring battle on Thursday at Muhlenberg County.
The Lady Rebels and Lady Mustangs battled to a 1-1 tie, Muhlenberg’s third draw in as many games. Todd Central moved to 1-1-1 and will host Clinton County on Tuesday.
Haley Chamberlaine had the goal and was singled out for praise by Lady Rebel coach Jerry Turner. Jaidyn Holland provided the assist, and goalkeeper Darby Delph was only called on to make two saves.
Elle Groves scored her team-leading fourth goal for the Lady Mustangs, assisted by Zoey Hudson. Goalkeeper Madison Teague made three stops.
