University Heights Academy’s Conlee Lindsey fired a 71 on Saturday at Pennyrile State Park to repeat as All A Region champion and highlight the Lady Blazers’ 1st-place team performance.
UHA finished with a score of 389, 42 strokes better than 2nd-place Lyon County, to capture a second-straight title.
Lindsey’s 71 was the lowest score of the day for girls or boys, followed for the Lady Blazers by Allie Sandifer with a 96.
Campbell Lindsey carded a 107, Ava Roberts finished with a 115, and Caroline Tucker rounded out the scoring with a 144.
The Lady Blazers finished 7th at last season’s state tournament, with Conlee Lindsey’s 78 good enough to place her 7th.
