The Caldwell County Lady Tiger volleyball team ran into a hot Mayfield squad on Tuesday, dropping a three-set match on the road.
Mayfield, now 5-0, defeated the Lady Tigers 25-14, 25-22, 25-10.
Caldwell’s girls are now 1-1.
Brylee Butts had 10 kills and a block to lead the Lady Tigers.
Rylee Thompson added a team-high 13 digs and two kills.
Kylee White recorded 13 assists and three digs while Medeline Thomas had nine assists and a kill.
Ellie Ramey had three kills, a block and two aces. Benashka Thomas recorded three kills and a block.
Chevy McGowan added two kills.
T.J. Goodwin totaled nine digs while Anna Giltz had five digs and Morgan Aikins recorded three digs.
The Lady Tigers will host Madisonville-North Hopkins for 7th District action Thursday night.
