The Todd County Central Lady Rebels picked up their 10th straight win over the Russellville Lady Panthers Thursday night in Elkton. The Lady Rebels swept past the Lady Panthers 25-7, 25-13, and 25-8 for their second straight win.
The last time the Lady Rebels lost to Russellville was back in 2017 when the Lady Panthers won in four sets. Since that time, Todd County Central has only lost one set to their 13th District rivals.
Allyssa Wofford and Callie Chapman led the attack at the net with five kills each. Lynnlee Jones, despite playing with a broken nose suffered in Monday night’s match against Heritage Christian, had four kills for the Lady Rebels.
Chloe Willis had 12 assists in the match, while Emily Thomas added five service aces. For the match, Todd County Central had a team total of 17 aces.
The win improves the Lady Rebels to 4-1 on the season. They are set to get back to action Thursday when they travel to Apollo.
