
Heritage Christian Academy took a set from its opponent for a third straight match but couldn’t overcome some key errors at inopportune times in a loss to Foundation Christian Academy Tuesday at Warrior Gym.
After losing the first set 25-19, the Lady Warriors rebounded to take the second set 25-20. However, the Bowling Green school was able to claim the third set 25-20 and take the match 2-1.
Katie Cansler had 12 kills, while Hadlee Hayes had five kills, five assists, and eight digs.
McKenzie McCarty had three kills, nine assists, and seven digs.
Bralee Fowler contributed seven digs on defense and Allie Craft had six digs.
HCA had 10 attack errors in the contest and six service errors that contributed to the loss.
The Lady Warriors (0-5) get a tough test Thursday with a district match against University Heights Academy.
