Caldwell County’s girls had dropped five straight matches to 7th District rival Madisonville-North Hopkins.
However, the Lady Tigers put an end to that streak by sweeping three close sets Thursday night.
Caldwell head coach Daniel Cortner said afterward that the win is a big confidence boost for his squad.
