
Bryan Linares had a hat trick and Leland Creamer had two goals and two assists as Christian County picked up its third straight win on Monday.
The Colonels built a 4-0 lead by halftime on the way to a 7-1 triumph over Lyon County at Lee S. Jones Park in Eddyville.
Christian (3-1) outshot Lyon 30-8 while beating the Lyons for the sixth-straight time.
Linares struck just 3 minutes into the contest, getting help from Noah Davis to quickly put Christian up 1-0.
Lyon (0-5) kept the game close for the next 23 minutes.
But Davis found the net in the 26th minute, scoring from point-blank range after taking a long throw-in from Creamer to make it a 2-0 game.
Just 3 minutes later, Creamer picked up his first goal. Christian Lopez assisted as Creamer scored on a shot from just outside the box.
Valentin Gonzalez scored in the 36th minute with help from Linares to stake the Colonels to their 4-0 lead at the break.

The Lyons struck for their first goal early in the second half. Colt Bannister finished in front after running on to a pass from Deven Guess. That came in the 42nd minute and made it 4-1.
However, Christian answered in the 49th minute when Linares hammered home a penalty kick.
Creamer scored his second goal on a long direct kick in the 61st minute.
Linares’ third goal came in the 75th minute when he stuck in a loose ball in front of the net.
Mason Malone needed to make just three saves for Christian.
Jackson Crawford recorded 14 saves for Lyon.
Both teams are back in action again on Tuesday.
Christian will host Trigg County while Lyon visits Fort Campbell.
