Dylan McDonald knows how to celebrate a birthday.
The Fort Campbell sophomore turned another year over on the calendar and then scored four goals to lead the Falcons to a 7-0 win over Lyon County Tuesday at Fryar Stadium.
The clean sheet was the first of the season for the Falcons and their first since a 10-0 win over Logan County last September.
McDonald, who came into the contest with one goal this season, wasted no time getting Fort Campbell on the board, taking a pass from Mateo Cerritos Gatto and scoring from the right side just 90 seconds into the match.
McDonald scored again seven minutes later off a feed from Dason Tate for a 2-0 Falcon advantage.
He completed the natural hat trick at the 15-minute mark when he took a feed from Chase Cribbett.
Fort Campbell was able to control the midfield throughout the first half and outshot the Lyons 12-3.

Cerritos Gatto took a pass from McDonald and scored in the 31st minute for a 4-0 Falcon advantage.
Eric Marr’s first goal of the season four minutes later gave the Falcons a 5-0 lead at intermission.
Jeremiah Brewer made five saves in goal for the Falcons, who improved to 3-2.
Tate and McDonald scored goals in the second half to provide the final margin as McDonald and Cerritos Gatton both had two assists.
Jackson Crawford made several point-blank saves for the Lyons to keep them in the contest but the inability to shed the Falcon defense on scoring opportunities limited their chances.
The win completes the season sweep by the Falcons over the Lyons.
Fort Campbell will host Hopkins County Central next Tuesday while Lyon County has a vital district showdown Thursday with Trigg County.
