
Fort Campbell placed two runners in the top four which helped them finish in second place at Saturday’s Calloway County Cross Country Invitational in Murray.
Jeffrey Perry covered the 3.1-mile course in 18:23, which was 15 seconds ahead of teammate Seth Puraty.
Sophomore Jayden Perry was 27th in 19:56 and John Arnold crossed the line in 23:03 to place 29th.
Ryker Kramer was 41st with a time of 20:40, and Jackson Evans was 50th in 21:21. Andy Cintron rounded out the scoring with a 57th-place finish in 21:36.
Fort Campbell totaled 98 points to finish six points behind team champion Paducah Tilghman and 15 points ahead of third place Dawson Springs.
