Turned out to be a tough Saturday for the Hopkinsville Tigers. The Tigers traveled to Bowling Green to take part in the Purples Classic hosted by Bowling Green High School.
In their opening match of the day, Elizabethtown won its third straight match as the Panthers handled the Tigers 11-1. Hopkinsville’s goal came from Kyler Delvecchio. Alex Ramirez got credit for the assist on the score.
The Tigers wrapped up their day taking on George Rogers Clark. GRC picked up its sixth win of the season by rolling past the Tigers 10-0.
Hopkinsville drops to 2-6 on the season. The Tigers are slated to host Ohio County Tuesday at the Stadium of Champions.
