Mayfield scored five goals in each half while dealing Caldwell County a 10-1 setback in boys’ soccer action Tuesday night.
The visiting Tigers (2-7) got a goal from Timothy Nichols early in the second half off a corner kick from Deacon Carter.
But the rest of the night belonged to the Cardinals (2-3).
Lincoln Suiter scored four goals and Pablo Sanchez had three for Mayfield, which has now taken six straight matches from the Tigers.
The Cardinals improved to 10-5 all-time against Caldwell.
