The Apollo Eagles made the trip from Owensboro to Eddyville Saturday morning and left with a 9-0 victory over Lyon County.
Apollo (3-10-1) took a 3-0 lead to halftime, then put the match away in the second half.
Omid Hanafi had four goals and an assist to lead the Eagles while Ra Son had a pair of goals and two assists.
Colton Anderson recorded a goal and two assists while Astere Irunva had one goal and one helper.
David Rugumeza had a goal while Keenan Jackson and Luke Mattingly recorded assists for the 3rd Region school.
Apollo was on the offensive for much of the contest while limiting Lyon’s scoring chances.
Htee Eh had two saves for Apollo.
Meanwhile, Jackson Crawford recorded 16 stops in the net for the Lyons.
Lyon, now 2-10-1, next visits Trigg County for 5th District action on Tuesday.
