
It was a familiar story for the Todd County Central volleyball team at Logan County on Tuesday, with the Lady Rebels falling 3-0 to the Lady Cougars to extend a long losing streak in the series.
Logan County won its third straight and fifth in the last six outings to improve to 11-6, 6-0 against 13th-District competition. The Lady Rebels have alternated wins and losses over their last six matches to stand at 8-10.
The Lady Cougars prevailed 25-16 in the opening set, followed by a 25-18 victory in the second. They finished things off with a 25-13 win in the third to extend an eight-set streak over the last three matches.
Todd Central has a busy weekend on tap at the wRECk @ the Plex in Hopkinsville. The Lady Rebels will face Owensboro Catholic and Heritage Christian Academy on Friday before matches with Fort Campbell, Hopkinsville, and Muhlenberg County on Saturday.
