
Offensive struggles were the undoing for the Christian County Colonels Tuesday night. Ohio County broke open a scoreless tie with two goals in a 30-second span in the first half on the way to a 4-0 win at the Stadium of Champions.
The match was scoreless until the 10:00 mark when the Eagles found the net for the first time. Thirty seconds later, the score would be 2-0, which turned out to be plenty of room for Ohio County.
Angel Sandria led Ohio County with a pair of scores. Bryan Pacheco and Abe Evans also found the net for the Eagles.
Christian County had opportunities but could not find a way to get the ball into the net. Ohio County ended up with 15 saves in the match.
The Colonels fall to 6-9 with the loss, which was their third straight. Christian County wraps up the regular season Thursday, hosting Hopkins County Central.
