The Trigg County Lady Wildcats took to the road to Mortons Gap Monday night. The Hopkins Central Lady Storm did not make it the most pleasant of trips as the Lady Storm got past the Lady Wildcats in three sets as the next to last week of the regular season got underway.

Central took the opening set 25-11 and followed that with a 25-12 win in the second to go up two sets to none.

Hopkins Central would not allow any kind of rally in this one as the Lady Storm then closed things out with a 25-9 win in the third set.

Ashlynn Koch had a big effort for the Lady Wildcats with 4 kills. Grace White finished with 1 assist, 1 dig, 1 ace, and 1 kill. Grace Carver added 1 kill, 2 blocks, and 1 ace, while Chloe McGraw had 3 digs.

The Lady Wildcats drop to 0-13 with the loss. They are back in action Tuesday night at Wildcat Gym when they host Union County.

One additional note to the night, The Lady Wildcats JV won their first game, winning in two sets. Coach Madison Rogers noted that the team played together, communicated, and fought the entire match.
