In search of a first 13th District boys soccer title since 2012, the Todd County Central Rebels got three goals from senior Zack Robinson on Tuesday to set up a return to the final with a 5-0 victory over hosts Logan County.

While Robinson had a big night, he did get plenty of help from his teammates. The Rebels also got scores from Tanner Henderson and Chris Salazar. Salazar, Henderson, and Tyler Baker had one assist each on the night.

Ricky Garcia-Sears was once again a wall in the net. He closed the door on the Wildcats, coming up with four saves.

The Rebels earned their third victory of the season and fifth straight shutout over Logan County to advance to the district final for the second season in a row.  Last year, the Rebels fell to Franklin-Simpson 2-1 in overtime in the championship match on the Wildcats’ home pitch.

In their three matchups this season, the Rebels outscored the Cougars 21-0.

Todd County Central now waits to find out who it will face in the title match. Franklin-Simpson and Russellville will play Tuesday night at Logan County. The title match is Thursday night at Logan County.
