Kentucky volleyball All-American Reagan Rutherford has a new NIL deal.
White, Greer & Maggard Orthodontics (WGM Orthodontics) has added Rutherford to its group of University of Kentucky athletes in a partnerships that strives to “serve as a powerful and inspiring force in continuing to promote one’s self-worth beyond the labels of society.”
The news release indicated that Rutherford reached out to White, Greer & Maggard Orthodontics about joining the campaign that already included UK athletes Isabella Magnelli, Reed Sheppard, and Deone Walker.
“As a student-athlete, I have definitely had difficult moments where I had to find my value as a person instead of just a volleyball player. Through my years I learned that my performance on the court doesn’t determine my worth off the court,” Rutherford said in the release.
“That is why I love WGMVP’s purpose to develop self-love at an early age; with all the influence of social media and the outside world, it’s easy to lose who you are. I would love to be a part of the WGMVP team to share my story for younger generations to learn from my experiences.”
Dr. Greg White of WGM Orthodontics said it was easy to add Rutherford to the NIL team.
“Reagan’s passion for excellence and her commitment to achieving her goals resonate so well with our campaign messaging. Together, we will inspire our community to pursue their dreams and believe in their self-worth,” White said.
The WGMVP campaign is a platform that brings together exceptional individuals who have made significant contributions in their respective fields to spread the messaging of “Don’t Believe the Lies”. The “WGMVP” campaign will illustrate what a true MVP is by asking the community to look past the lies and unrealistic expectations about having to live up to the labels that society so often places on them.
Rutherford will be involved in collaborative community initiatives and social media campaigns as part of her NIL deal.
