Blazers Rack Up PRs at Daviess County Classic

It was a day of personal bests for the University Heights Academy cross country runners at Saturday’s Daviess County Classic.

All five runners who took to the starting line for the Blazers ran their best times.

Jude Finch ran a 19:27 to finish in 140^th place. Graham Conrad was 269^th in 22:22, and Garrett Bowling was 285^th in 23:00.

Logan Miller, who does double duty with the UHA soccer team, was 295^th in 23:47 and Jack Cavanah was 298^th in 23:56.

Cole Glover, who is attending the Gatton Academy for Science and Math in Bowling Green this academic year, ran unattached since he is not eligible to run for the Blazers this year. He finished in eighth place in 16:21.

John Hardin’s Brendan Nagle won the race in a time of 15:36 at Owensboro’s Yellow Creek Park in 18:16. The course will be the site of the Region 1 meet in all three classes on October 21.

UHA finished 32^nd in the team standings.
