Lady Rebels Split Final 2 Matches of Regular Season

Todd County Central will carry a 15-17 record into the 13th District volleyball tournament after splitting a pair of matches Saturday in Princeton.

The Lady Rebels dropped a 3-0 decision to Graves County in their opener, but came back to defeat host Caldwell County 3-1 in their regular-season finale.

Todd was competitive in two of its three sets against Graves but fell 25-22, 25-13, 25-21.

Allyssa Wofford had nine kills and three assists for the Lady Rebels in that match while Lynnlee Jones added six kills.

Aubri Penick had four kills. Shelby Holderman totaled two kills, eight assists and two aces. Chloe

Willis had two kills and five aces. Ariana Hudson recorded two blocks.

Chloe Collins had two assists while Josie Williams had two aces.

The Lady Rebels also dropped their first set against Caldwell before coming back for a 21-25, 25-16, 25-29, 25-12 triumph.

Wofford pounded 17 kills along with three aces and two assists while Jones had 12 kills, a block and two aces.

Penick added six kills and a block. Willis had three kills, 14 assists and two aces while Holderman tallied 16 assists and three aces.

Hudson had two kills. Williams had a kill, two assists and two aces.

The Lady Rebels will face Franklin-Simpson Monday night in semifinal round action in Franklin.
