During basketball season, you will find her courtside cheering on the Heritage Christian Academy Warriors and Lady Warriors. But cheerleading is far from the only thing that HCA student-athlete Grace Crawford is involved in and outstanding in, and it is that combination that has her as the latest Chick-fil-A ‘Triple A.’

Grace rocks it in the classroom earning straight A’s. Her standout grades also have her involved in several organizations and activities. She serves as the President of the HCA chaper of the National Honor Society. The National Honor Society is an organization for high schoolers that promotes leadership, service, character, and scholarship. High school students in grades 9-12 with a minimum GPA of 3.0 are eligible to apply for membership into the National Honor Society. To be admitted, students must show academic commitment, leadership experience, and good character. And don’t want to forget that she is also a member of the Spanish National Honor Society.

Grace is involved with the Beta Club at Heritage. Beta is the largest independent, non-profit, educational youth organization in America, which for more than 80 years, has prepared today’s students to be tomorrow’s leaders. Beta’s goal is to promote the ideals of academic achievement, character, service, and leadership among elementary and secondary school students.

She has also been a part of the Kentucky Youth Assembly, or KYA. The Kentucky Youth Assembly is an expanded, educational opportunity in which students serve as part of a model state government. KYA offers students the opportunity to learn about a wide variety of issues, develop critical thinking skills, and articulate their beliefs while engaging constructively with their peers from around the Commonwealth.

School community is also a big part of Grace’s life as a student at Heritage Christian. Start with Student Government, where she has served as President. She has also been involved as a Student Ambassador. And, it does not stop there.

Somehow, Grace has found time to be involved with the Academic Team, the Praise Band, the Yearbook Committee, and the Student Advisory Council.

She also takes to the stage at Heritage Christian. Grace has been involved in theatrical productions of Tarzan, Beauty and the Beast, Freaky Friday, and this year Seussical.

By the way, she also runs the sound system for HCA baseball and softball and has been known to rock some classic 80’s music on those spring afternoons.

Faith is an important part of Grace’s life. She plays piano and sings on the Living Hope Worship Team and leads the Living Hope youth group praise band. She also serves in the church nursery.

Serving others is important to her as well. She has gone to Oklahoma for 6 summers on a mission trip as a camp counselor for “Camp Crossway.” She traveled to Brazil in 2019 on a mission trip and has plans to go again in the summer of 2024.

Grace has participated in the Christian County Distinguished Young Woman program, where she was runner-up, and won the academic and interview award. She was also Centre College’s Governor’s Scholar during the summer of 2023.

All of this makes you wonder when she has time to sleep. Obviously, this is a young lady with an incredibly bright future ahead of her, and that is why Grace Crawford is the latest Chick-fil-A ‘Triple A.’
