Lexington to Host KHSAA State Archery Tournament

After years of holding the state archery tournament in Bowling Green, the KHSAA has voted to hold the 2024 state tournament at the Central Bank Center in Lexington.

The move means every KHSAA state tournament except for field hockey, golf, volleyball, cheerleading, bowling, and bass fishing will now be held in Lexington.

The KHSAA said the move to the Central Bank Center, located adjacent to Rupp Arena, will allow for the possible consideration of future expansion of the event field and a potentially shorter duration of the event to promote less overnight travel for participating schools.

The move to Lexington does not impact the NASP state tournament, which has been traditionally held on a separate date in Louisville.
