Ben Davis from Indianapolis will take home a 2-0 worksheet from its inaugural appearance in the West Kentucky Hoops Classic in Princeton.
Ramone Enis had 13 points and seven boards while Mark White tallied 12 points and six rebounds in the Giants’ 67-48 win over Pinson Valley (Ala.) on Friday at Caldwell County High School.
K.J. Windham added 10 points for Ben Davis, which raced out to an 18-6 lead after one quarter and held the upper hand the rest of the way.
It was 33-20 at halftime, then Ben Davis (6-2) pushed the margin to 50-27 through three quarters.
Clyde Walters had 16 points for Pinson Valley (10-5). Austen Coner added 13.
Ben Davis defeated Knoxville Christian in its first game in the event on Thursday.
Pinson Valley, which has played in the Hoops Classic several times, lost to Hamilton Heights from Chattanooga on Thursday.
