
Fort Campbell bagged a top-10 finish at Saturday’s Christian County Wrestling Invitational at Lyle Dunbar Gymnasium.
Adyn Laird took fourth place in the 144-pound class. He finished 3-2 for the day.
Eithan Cassell finished in fifth place in the 132-pound class. He won four matches, including a takedown of Paducah Tilghman’s Nathan Uhlik in the fifth-place match.
T.J. Dixon was 3-3 Saturday and finished in sixth place in the 157-pound class. Two of his losses came to Christian County’s Zach Eads, including in the fifth-place match.
Keshawn Dixon was sixth in the 165-pound class. He was 2-3 with his last two losses coming by decision.
Fort Campbell scored 79.5 points to finish in an eighth-place tie with Henderson County.
Union County finished in first place with 324.5 points. Nolensville, Tenn. was second with 233 points followed by Christian County (147.5) and defending state champion Paducah Tilghman (146.5).
