Former Woodford County star Jasper Johnson continues to show why he’s such a highly-touted national prospect.

The 6-4 guard — a top 10 player in the 2025 recruiting class — had a game-high 24 points for Link (Mo.) Academy in an 80-52 win over The Burlington School (North Carolina) at the Quincy (Ill.) Shootout to earn game MVP honors.

It wasn’t just that he scored 24 points but how he did it. He was 5-for-5 on 3-point shots and 3-for-3 on 2-point tries. His only miss came at the foul line where he went 3-for-4.

Remember earlier this month Link came to Woodford County to play and Johnson poured in 10 3-point shots in a 37-point outing against Huntington Prep with Kentucky coach John Calipari and several other college coaches watching.

Johnson has over 20 scholarship offers including Kentucky, North Carolina, Kansas, Baylor, West Virginia, Georgia Tech and Missouri.

Johnson has been trying to narrow his list to eight schools and could announce that list this week.
