The Franklin-Simpson Lady Wildcats are looking every bit like a 4th Region championship contender. The Lady Wildcats limited the Todd County Central Lady Rebels to just 20 points Friday night as they roared their way to a 57-20 win over the Lady Rebels in Franklin.
The win was the third straight for Franklin-Simpson since their Kentucky 2A championship loss to Boyd County, which is their only loss of the season.
For Todd County Central, the loss was the fifth in their last six games since 2024 began. The Lady Rebels came into the new year with an 11-3 record, but 2024 has been lacking in kindness towards Todd County Central.
The 20 points was Todd County Central’s lowest point output since January 21, 2022.
The Lady Rebels fall to 12-8 overall and 1-3 in 13th District play. They are set to be back in action Tuesday against East Robertson.
