
Jaydarius Wilson scored 20 of his game-high 30 points in the second half as Caldwell County continued its roll Thursday night with a 64-55 victory at Trigg County.
Wilson made 14 of his 18 field goals but was an uncharacteristic 2 of 8 at the free throw line. He also grabbed eight rebounds.
Caldwell (12-7) has now won seven of its last nine games, with the only losses during that time coming to Lyon County and Madisonville-North Hopkins.
The win gave the Tigers a regular-season sweep of the Wildcats. Caldwell won 62-51 in early December when the teams met at Butler Gym in Princeton.
Trigg (9-10) was shorthanded Thursday with leading scorer Jhaden Vaughn and his 17.3 points a game on the bench with a foot injury. The Wildcats hope to have Vaughn back next week. 
Still, Trigg was as close as 30-27 late in the first half before Carter Whittington buried a 3-pointer at the horn to send the Tigers to the locker room with a six-point edge.
Caldwell then seized full control in the third quarter, outscoring Trigg 17-4 in the period. That send the Tigers to the final quarter with a 50-31 advantage.
Caldwell led by as much as 23 points, 62-39, in the fourth period before Trigg finished the game with a 16-2 run to trim the final margin to nine. The Wildcats scored the final 13 points of the night.
Whittington finished the night with 10 points, 10 assists, six rebounds and four steals for Caldwell. Luke Parker added nine points.
Davaree Gude had 13 points and 11 rebounds to lead Trigg. Jerimyah Shearer had 12 points for the Wildcats.

Caldwell won the battle of the boards 32-20. The Tigers got up 13 more shots than the Wildcats, hitting 26 of 58 for 44.8 percent. Trigg was 21 of 45 for 46.7 percent.
Caldwell will play its fourth game in five nights when it hosts 7th District foe Dawson Springs on Friday.
Trigg will go to Graves County on Saturday.
