
Fort Campbell produced its best day at the region wrestling tournament in six years on Saturday and will send four to the state tournament later this week in Lexington.
Adyn Laird came in third place in the 144-pound class and will head to state after a 3-2 day.
T.J. Dixon will make a return trip to state with a fourth-place finish at 150. His brother Keshawn also finished fourth and will also head back to state in the 157-pound class.
Jayden Perry will head to state after a fourth-place finish in the 120-pound class. He won three matches with both losses coming to Daviess County’s Jackson Stoner.
Ryker Kramer finished in fifth place in the 106-pound class, defeating Apollo’s Kevin Lopez with a second-round pin.
Andy Cintron took sixth place in the 113-pound class, falling to Christian County’s Anthony Velasco twice, including in the fifth-place match by a 10-2 major decision.
Jeffery Perry came in sixth place in the 126-pound class with three wins in six matches.
Fort Campbell scored 102 points to finish in seventh place.
